Sometimes I wind up monologuing on social media, and if it turns out people like my rambles enough, I’ll bring them here for posterity (and editing).


All the articles in this category were originally written on, and for, Twitter. They do not use the writing style I prefer here, in grammatical construction, vocabulary choice, or semantic tone. The way I write on Twitter tends to be highly informal, unprofessional, and even acerbic. The nature of the medium encourages a more, shall we say, actively interrogative, tone, and the charlimit forces many small paragraphs.

Every page here is a transcription from the original, with maybe some context attached or minor errors corrected, but no other substantive changes made. I denote the breaks between tweets by using a horizontal rule:
